Wheel-thrown and stoneware lidded jars with creamy beige color. The unglazed buttom shows the beautiful toffee caramel color of this unique clay. These jars have distinct edges on the bottom which are slightly smoothened by the shiny glaze on top. The glaze has a very unique effect with little white freckles, it also gets darker on curves where the glaze is thicker and lighter on the edges where the glaze is thinner. It is glazed with transparent glaze on the inside to make it water resistant and to show the natural color of this unique clay when it is shiny. You can put salt and pepper or you can use these to hide your little treasures. On the inside transparent glaze is used to make the jars water resistant and food safe, and we can enjoy the natural color of this unique clay when it is shiny. The jars are sold seperately. As the beauty of handmade, there might be color or little size differences between the pieces.
